Green Tape and Yellow Tape: Color Tape for Classification

Green Tape and yellow tape are solutions for classification for tell the difference or mark down the special package inside the box. Newera work with all kinds of customers and importers that the color tape is applied to many places that we could not image. For example, the fishing industry use color tape to separate the fish with shrimp, the fresh and refrigeration food. The factory might use yellow tape for export packing because the yellow wrapping tape could protect the box privacy instead of clear tape that the product box information is seen by delivery man that have the risk of being stolen in local market.

Yellow tape and green tape is the same material as clear tape, which is made by BOPP and acrylic adhesive. For all of color tape, yellow tape is more common than other color because it stands out in a pile of package and would not lead to delivery man to tell mistake color because some may not tell the correct blue as green color. In some factories, green color used as good product, red as defective product. If customer use tape for temporary usage, color is not important and necessary.

From manufacturer side, Newera has stock for all color mostly in 50 micron to help customer order in less quantity like 5 boxes. The production of color tape is kind of complicated. It takes about 3 hours and a few staff to clean the glue container while the whole process of cleaning needs to shut down the coating line workshop. The labor cost and production cost for this extra cleaning result to about MOQ for color tape. Usually our minimum order for new color is four jumbo rolls that will make about 3000 rolls of tape. Newera has stable customers need for color tape so we have regular jumbo roll stock for production any time.
